About Pitsignal

I am a computer engineer and an F1 fan who wants to learn in public and make the sport easier to understand.

PitSignal

Why this exists: F1 is an engineering story as much as a race, and I want to share what I learn in a way that actually helps beginners and curious fans.
What I do here: I break down telemetry, upgrades, and strategy in short posts that answer one clear question at a time, using simple words and clean visuals.
How I work: I use Python and open data tools to pull lap times and traces, turn them into charts, and explain what they mean in everyday language

What you can expect: practical takeaways, small lessons you can apply while watching a race, and links to related posts if you want to go deeper.
How I keep it honest: every post includes what data I used, how I processed it, and any limits, so you can see the method and trust the result.
My goal: be helpful first, keep things clear, and improve a little with every race weekend as my own skills grow.
If something is off, I would rather fix it fast than let it sit, and I welcome suggestions or corrections.
